Wasco County Government History is long and colorful.  The heart of county government takes place at the third courthouse building constructed in The Dalles, the county seat.  City Hall is housed in the second courthouse building and the original courthouse structure is now part of the many historical buildings located in The Dalles and is open for visitors.
